Education
Dr. Weng’s undergraduate studies began at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During her time at this world-renowned institution, Dr. Weng studied both architecture and design alongside biology. This blended her interests in art and science, which produced a strong influence on her approach to facial plastic surgery. She later pursued her medical degree at the Cleveland Clinic-Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
After earning her MD, Dr. Weng attended University Hospitals-Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio for the completion of a five-year residency in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. Following her residency, Dr. Weng relocated to Rochester, New York to participate in a year-long fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the guidance of Dr. Vito Quatela, a former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. This extensive training covered a comprehensive range of procedures, including rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facelift surgery, and injectable treatments.
Board-Certification
Dr. Weng is double-board certified, with certifications from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
