1 year after reduction rhinoplasty and chin reduction for slight dorsal hump and bulbous, ptotic (droopy) tip with hanging columella and an overprojected chin. Please notice how the tip has been rotated up so that it is no longer droopy and the columella has been shortened so that you can’t look inside the nostrils as much. On the diagonal view the reduction in tip bulbosity can be seen. The chin projection has been reduced to a pleasing degree so that the profile is balanced.The tracing on the right is made from the preoperative computer imaging done during the consultation. Dr. Pontell creates this tracing which he uses as a guide during surgery to accomplish the patient’s goals. This allows Dr. Pontell to get as close to the desired result as possible. Please compare the desired profile in the tracing to the actual “after photo.”
