Before and 2 months after a reduction rhinoplasty to take care of a very over overprojected nose with a bump (dorsal hump) and a hanging columella which allowed you to see into the nostrils far too much. As you can see in the “after”photo, the overall nose is smaller and closer to her face. The tip is rotated to a pleasing degree and the columella doesn’t hang any more. The nose and overall profile is much more balanced and feminine.The tracing on the right is made from the preoperative computer imaging done during the consultation. Dr. Pontell creates this tracing which he uses as a guide during surgery to accomplish the patient’s goals. This allows Dr. Pontell to get as close to the desired result as possible. Please compare the desired profile in the tracing to the actual “after photo.”
